Update

Over a year on my last blog on this.

So whats happened?

Well my training came December time..I think, then I had to wait until April until my badge finally came. However In January the jobcenter threw me off jobseakers because i was sick and missed a day, they said id been sick twice...basically making up excuses not paying for my badge, got lucky and got a fire marshaling job/experience the next day.

Few months passed and my certificate came through and I got work in security, worked nearly full time on and off. I then got a new job with a better company, but mu old boss begged me back so I went back after getting promises of lots of work and more money. Sadly this was an appalling lie, I got hours that kept dropping and got less and less, its got that bad now that ive worked twice the whole month :(

What Next??

I have a job interview tomorrow, am hoping I get in to full time work, then can begin getting my life on track.

Plans:
Driving lessons.
Going out improving my photography skills
and most importantly visiting my friend kate and her family.

Thoughts and opinions on the Job Center

They are completely useless, I went there for help, searching for work, improve myself. They didnt care, they were more interested in getting me out of there as soon as possible, they either wanted me off jobseekers or on a course to get me off unemployment records. All they said is apply to the supermarkets, it got me very angry, to the point where me and my brother in law searched security courses, the job center did provide them however they made money off of you doing a 12 week course and then sitting another completely pointless course. What is 12 weeks reading papers going to achieve, nothing so we found a course who said the jobcenter would have to pay but they were furious with me giving them instructions on helping me get in to work. I sorted everything all they had to do was sign a piece of paper, I was that dedicated in to getting in to work yet they were pissed. Eventually they agreed, but in the end made an excuse up threw me off jobseekers and didnt pay for my license. Totally useless.

Seems to me and am not racist or anything like that but I noticed they seemed to help and want to help and deal with foreigners first. Very wrong in my mind.

still no sia course

So its been 7 weeks since I started the course at edudo.
Told max would be 2 weeks and would be invited back within a week, max 2 weeks to get my SIA course and test, then had a job waiting.

Got told by my brother in laws boss he would hold a position for 7-8 weeks as I should have completed it by then as promised by edudo company.

Still nothing, been ringing constantly, by now the woman must know who I am, constant ringing, day before yesterday got told maybe 2-3 weeks till I receive a letter, thats bs

Today again I rang, I was guaranteed the letter would be 2 weeks max,then she went on about the 5th,said i was defiantly booked on it, but wouldn't say when. She kept apologizing about the delays but I told her i booked this course being told it would be over in 3-4 weeks instead over 7weeks only just getting my 1st certificate through. I think I have lost the job, I therefore cannot afford the badge which costs £250 which the job center would pay if I had a job,

She said there had been a funding issue, what funding issue? Am sooo angry

At the point now where I dont know what to do, theres bills, christmas and other stuff coming up, I want the job so much, struggling to get a job other places and its not like am not qualified I am.

Its so Shitty feel like am in a hole trapped :(

Bye bye renault

Kinda crap day today, well week really, dads trusty Renault Laguna sport finally has gone, it can be repaired but £300 + 200 its just too much, then I think there's something else + will be needing new tyres, so for the time being we've got a white Vauxhall.

Was sad seeing the old girl go but was good to watch

but hit the back of the truck lol because he just shot up

New Job

I got a job Waiting....YEH

I have managed to get a job, I have to wait for my SIA license but they will accept me as long as i get the certificate of proof of passing, I should hear from them this week abut taking my SIA test then the job center have to pay for me

Im so glad I went through the job center because when I tried organizing this myself and paying for the test it was a fraud company, which means Id have paid them and when id have been 15 mins from starting I got a text saying it had been cancelled for the day. It was a fake company hat steals peoples cash, went on job seekers as I got desperate, there useless, all they want anyone to do is work in tesco, I thought it was unacceptable so took things in to my own hands, found the company sorted it all out and job center still tried talking me out of it because they dont wanna pay....

Anyway enough rambling I have a job :D

which means i can pay off my £500 credit card
£1000 uni grant they want back

All will be good in the next couple of weeks and am gunna start driving & searching for a car, il start a completely new job for that.

Back in Doncaster

So I did the 2 weeks,

I started on an odd day, it was a thursday, so had to buy a train and buss pass for week,

Then I add to get another on the Tuesday, thats another £35.10.

and I had to do another 3 days so finished Wed, so had to buy another week 1, another £35.10

+ 2 buses at £1.30 each

well the training is complete...stage 1,
I will get a letter and start stage 2.
Stage 2 the physical and training for my SIA license,

Which will mean me travelling all the way back to leeds from Doncaster again, it will be great fun lol.

In the long run its worth it as ive managed to get a job :D
I start as soon as i get the licence through, happy days
