still no sia course

So its been 7 weeks since I started the course at edudo.
Told max would be 2 weeks and would be invited back within a week, max 2 weeks to get my SIA course and test, then had a job waiting.

Got told by my brother in laws boss he would hold a position for 7-8 weeks as I should have completed it by then as promised by edudo company.

Still nothing, been ringing constantly, by now the woman must know who I am, constant ringing, day before yesterday got told maybe 2-3 weeks till I receive a letter, thats bs

Today again I rang, I was guaranteed the letter would be 2 weeks max,then she went on about the 5th,said i was defiantly booked on it, but wouldn't say when. She kept apologizing about the delays but I told her i booked this course being told it would be over in 3-4 weeks instead over 7weeks only just getting my 1st certificate through. I think I have lost the job, I therefore cannot afford the badge which costs £250 which the job center would pay if I had a job,

She said there had been a funding issue, what funding issue? Am sooo angry

At the point now where I dont know what to do, theres bills, christmas and other stuff coming up, I want the job so much, struggling to get a job other places and its not like am not qualified I am.

Its so Shitty feel like am in a hole trapped :(

Bye bye renault

Kinda crap day today, well week really, dads trusty Renault Laguna sport finally has gone, it can be repaired but £300 + 200 its just too much, then I think there's something else + will be needing new tyres, so for the time being we've got a white Vauxhall.

Was sad seeing the old girl go but was good to watch

New Job

I got a job Waiting....YEH

I have managed to get a job, I have to wait for my SIA license but they will accept me as long as i get the certificate of proof of passing, I should hear from them this week abut taking my SIA test then the job center have to pay for me

Im so glad I went through the job center because when I tried organizing this myself and paying for the test it was a fraud company, which means Id have paid them and when id have been 15 mins from starting I got a text saying it had been cancelled for the day. It was a fake company hat steals peoples cash, went on job seekers as I got desperate, there useless, all they want anyone to do is work in tesco, I thought it was unacceptable so took things in to my own hands, found the company sorted it all out and job center still tried talking me out of it because they dont wanna pay....

Anyway enough rambling I have a job :D

which means i can pay off my £500 credit card
£1000 uni grant they want back

All will be good in the next couple of weeks and am gunna start driving & searching for a car, il start a completely new job for that.

So I did the 2 weeks,

I started on an odd day, it was a thursday, so had to buy a train and buss pass for week,

Then I add to get another on the Tuesday, thats another £35.10.

and I had to do another 3 days so finished Wed, so had to buy another week 1, another £35.10

+ 2 buses at £1.30 each

well the training is complete...stage 1,
I will get a letter and start stage 2.
Stage 2 the physical and training for my SIA license,

Which will mean me travelling all the way back to leeds from Doncaster again, it will be great fun lol.

In the long run its worth it as ive managed to get a job :D
I start as soon as i get the licence through, happy days

training finished

Right my 2 weeks of training is done. Kinda felt a huge waste of time,learnt nothing, felt like I was a tutor myself however when I was there some1 got a deaf signing postcard, it had the alphabet on, after getting bored I decided to write down all the swear words in sign...Ino childish lol, however I asked and there are classes available so definatly considering learning,then on train home a girl and her son were deaf having a chat, then we went through a tunnel, every1 either stopped talking, or went quiet, yet the deaf ones carried on talking, it was an amazing experience, I now definatly Wana learn. I had a phone call at home a unit was incomplete so the tutor came up, I finishes it and have been talked in to doing a type of teaching course, not in schools but for courses like the 1 I was on, its been a good day, now 2 weeks and Il be a qualified security guard with a job waiting.

2nd Week

2nd week dragging like hell, Found put the 4 days training isn't for 2 weeks after ice finished: kinda poo. Kinda annoyed, the course should have finished already, I dnt personally feel ice learnt anything, everg1 is illiterate so me being good at English I've acted like a human dictionary. Also on Tuesday got bad chest & turning up daily in rain., got bit if a chest infection so that didn't help :( . Last day...I can't wait to do my 4 days training so I can start work

Week 1 of training Well this week was rubbish my course was full of ex criminals, people who didn't Wana be there. It was work skills,very angry as I know 2 weeks of work could have been completed in 3 days. A million Cig breaks....I don't smoke, tea & coffee available 50p a tiny cup, then they took it away, even took away the water, then the travelling 2 trains and 2 busses + 40 mins of. Walking there and back...kinda,pissed off

Job centre useless, god only knows why they pay these people, useless.Only thing I've noticed is the insane amount of security guards protecting so called advisors. After no job replies,responces or anything I got angry, felt like the advisers wernt doing their jobs.You visit them when advisors want to see you,they just look for jobs...I do that I don't want them doing that. My first job seekers interview I asked about courses getting trained for building site jobs, security & so on, enough time wasting,they said no courses available, they would have wanted me to go on a 12 week course then....you don't need to know the details I got angry and took steps in go my own hands.
1- I researched popular jobs,current jobs,plentyful jobs, stable jobs. I found security was stable available everywere. I decided to choose security.

2- I researched & found course in Leeds called edudo. 2 weeks works skills 4 days security training. Ecstatic I informed the job center by phone, this is how they answered. A woman answered, was mean nasty,arrogent, didn't want to know and was angry id researched this on my own and giving the job center the bill. I then visited the job center, they had never heard of edudo and I was forced to find all info myself and get all contact details alone. Job center= useless I start the course a week later

Start off posting daily the great job hunt...(dates may be wrong) Began over a month ago ran out of money, After getting advice from friends decided maybe going on job seekers might be be a good option as I've worked for a number of years so feel I have the right. Went and applied I went, here's how it went. 1- got job seekers 2- they are useless,said my Cv was rubbish even though if was made by some1 who did a masters 3- they seem more determined on getting every1 supermarket jobs, but its impossible to even geut interviews let alone replies. 4- asking for help on say courses they don't seem interested.
